Drones can potentially detect surface defects on wall cladding more easily and more quickly. Although there are currently no regulations stipulating mandatory building inspections, it has been widely speculated that new regulations may be in place in 2019 due to the recent spate of cladding-related incidents. The findings of any defect from the drones will still have to be certified by a professional engineer and thereafter rectified by wall cladding specialists like Lee Wall Cladding & Roofing Pte Ltd.
